In this workshop you will learn how to have manual control over your camera. Trina will teach you in depth the technical and creative applications of using aperture and shutter speeds, ISO settings to make your pictures how you have always wanted them to look.  (Instead of being stuck with how the camera takes it in AUTO mode!) You will learn how to use your light meter in the camera and how to read your histogram so that your technique in making photo art improves.  There will be an emphasis on your creativity development through the weekly photo assignments.  With the use of beautiful slideshows Trina will teach you about visual language; the elements and principles of design.  Highlights of the workshop will include weekly feedback sessions on your photos, learning how to adjust your photos on the computer to improve them, a portrait photography night and an experimental lighting session.  Our workshop wraps up with a wine and cheese critique to celebrate your accomplishments and growth.

To provide a personal “hands-on” environment,  Trina has been teaching this workshop for 18 years out of her studio.  The class size is strictly limited to 10 people to maintain a personal atmosphere, because of this, spots fill up quickly!
